The Sklar Mixter Scissors is a general purpose dissecting scissors with smooth, blunt/blunt blades suited to careful tissue cutting where minimising the risk of accidental puncture matters, such as when working near vessels or other sensitive structures. The straight blade profile gives the surgeon a direct cutting line, useful when the tissue plane being divided runs relatively straight rather than requiring the surgeon to follow a curve.
