Sklar Michel Tissue Forceps, 1x2 Teeth
A small toothed forceps used to grasp skin and soft tissue precisely during minor procedures and wound closure work.
The Sklar Michel Tissue Forceps is a small forceps used to hold skin or soft tissue steady while a clinician places sutures, applies clips or performs a minor procedure such as a biopsy or lesion excision. The 1x2 tooth pattern at the tip interlocks to give a secure but limited bite on tissue, enough to prevent slipping without applying the wider crushing force of a larger tissue forceps, which suits work on thinner skin or delicate areas.
Its compact size, measuring 5 inches overall, makes it convenient for use in outpatient clinics and minor procedure rooms as well as in the operating theatre for smaller closures. General practitioners, dermatologists, general surgeons and nurses performing minor procedures use this forceps as a standard tool for handling skin during closure or excision.
This listing is a single configuration. As with other Sklar surgical instruments, it is manufactured from surgical stainless steel and intended for repeated cleaning and sterilisation between patients.
