Sklar Merit Rodent Rabbit Starter Set, 9 Piece
A 9 piece starter set bringing together core veterinary instruments used for the examination, dental care and minor treatment of rodents and rabbits.
The Sklar Merit Rodent and Rabbit Starter Set is a 9 piece kit that brings together a range of veterinary instruments suited to the examination, dental care and minor treatment of small mammal patients such as rabbits and rodents. Bundling these tools together as a starter set gives a veterinary practice a practical way to build out capability for exotic small mammal care without sourcing each specialised instrument individually, which can be time consuming given how specific some of these tools are to this patient group.
Small mammals present unique anatomical and handling challenges compared with cats and dogs, particularly around dental disease, and having a dedicated set of appropriately sized and shaped instruments supports safer, more effective care for these patients. This set is aimed at general veterinary practices looking to expand their exotic animal services, as well as clinics already seeing small mammal patients that want a consolidated, ready to use kit.
The instruments included are built from stainless steel and designed to withstand standard veterinary sterilisation protocols between patients. It is typically stocked as a complete set rather than broken into individual pieces for sale.
