Sklar Littler Suture Carrying Scissors, Curved
A curved scissors with a suture eye in the blade that lets a surgeon thread and pull suture material through tissue in a single pass.
The Sklar Littler Suture Carrying Scissors combines two functions in one instrument: a cutting scissors and a suture carrier. A small hole built into the blade allows the surgeon to thread suture material through it and then pull the suture through tissue in the same motion the scissors is already being used for, which can save steps during procedures that involve repeated suture passes, such as tendon or hand surgery.
The blades are curved, giving the surgeon a better line of sight and access around curved anatomical structures compared with a straight pattern. This dual purpose design is valued by hand surgeons, plastic surgeons and microsurgeons working in confined surgical fields where minimising instrument exchanges matters.
It measures 5-1/2 inches overall. The listing includes a further size or configuration variant alongside this one, so the range covers more than a single option for teams with different preferences. As a reusable stainless instrument it is intended for standard surgical reprocessing between cases.
