Sklar Econo Carmalt Splinter Forceps, Straight
A disposable, fine-tipped forceps used to grasp and remove splinters and small foreign bodies, available with straight or angled jaws. Supplied disposable for single use and packed 12 to a unit for routine clinic and hospital stock.
The Econo Carmalt splinter forceps from Sklar are a disposable instrument with slender, tapering jaws designed to grip very small objects such as splinters, glass fragments, and other foreign bodies embedded in skin or soft tissue. The fine tip lets the clinician grasp precisely without disturbing the surrounding tissue, which matters when removing material close to sensitive structures.
This listing covers two builds at four and a quarter inches, one with an angled jaw and one straight, giving the clinician a choice depending on the approach angle needed to reach the foreign body. Supplied disposable, the forceps arrive with sharp, properly aligned tips for every use and are discarded afterward, which is well suited to an instrument regularly used in emergency and minor injury settings where fast, reliable removal of foreign material is routine.
Emergency departments, minor injury units, and general practice clinics commonly keep this instrument stocked for everyday wound care. Packed twelve to a box, it suits steady restocking for departments handling foreign body removal on a regular basis.
