Sklar Econo Bozeman Uterine Dressing Forceps
A long, disposable S-curved forceps used in gynaecology to reach the uterine cavity for packing, dressing placement, and tissue handling. Supplied disposable for single use.
The Econo Bozeman uterine dressing forceps from Sklar are a disposable instrument built with an extended reach and a distinctive S-shaped curve along the shaft, allowing the surgeon to access the uterine cavity while keeping the handle in a comfortable, ergonomic position outside the patient. At ten and a quarter inches, the length is well suited to gynaecological procedures that require working deep within the pelvis, including uterine packing, dressing placement, and general tissue handling during minor gynaecological surgery.
The curved shaft design is a defining feature of the Bozeman pattern, distinguishing it from straight dressing forceps used in more superficial procedures, and it lets the tip approach tissue at an angle that a straight instrument could not reach comfortably. Supplied disposable, the forceps are used once and discarded, avoiding cross-contamination concerns in a procedure area where instruments come into contact with internal tissue.
Gynaecology clinics, labour wards, and general surgical departments performing uterine procedures typically stock this instrument. Packed twelve to a box, it suits routine restocking for departments with regular procedure volume.
