Sklar Econo Adson-Brown Tissue Forceps, 7x7 Teeth
A disposable straight tissue forceps with side-grasping 7x7 teeth, used to hold and manipulate delicate tissue during general and plastic surgery procedures. Supplied disposable for single use and packed 12 to a unit for routine clinic and hospital stock.
Sklar's Econo Adson-Brown tissue forceps are a disposable variant of a widely used pattern that combines a fine tip with a side-grasping row of 7x7 teeth. This tooth arrangement spreads holding pressure over a wider area than a simple toothed tip, letting the surgeon secure fascia, skin, or other delicate tissue with a firm grip while limiting localised crushing damage.
The straight, four and three quarter inch design gives good control for close, precise work such as wound closure, skin approximation, and plastic and reconstructive procedures where tissue handling quality affects the final result. As a single-use instrument, it removes the need for reprocessing between cases and gives every user a fresh, undamaged tip, which matters for a pattern where tooth alignment affects performance.
The forceps are packed twelve to a box, a practical quantity for operating rooms, dressing stations, and outpatient procedure rooms that use tissue forceps regularly and want to keep a running supply without frequent reordering.
