The Sklar Bruenings Ear Specula is a complete magnifying pneumatic otoscope set, combining a magnifying lens with a rubber bulb and tube system that lets the clinician introduce a small puff of air to check the mobility of the tympanic membrane during ear examination, in addition to standard visual inspection.
The set includes four specula in different sizes, along with the connecting tube, bulb and a carrying case. This is a single configuration listing, sold as the complete set. It is intended for use by trained ENT and pediatric clinical staff assessing for middle ear effusion or other conditions where tympanic membrane mobility testing is clinically useful.
