Sklar Brown Tissue Forceps, Side Grasping
A side grasping tissue forceps used to hold tissue firmly during general surgical dissection and closure, available in three overall lengths, for use in hospitals and surgical centers.
The Sklar Brown Tissue Forceps uses the same side grasping jaw approach as the related Brown Resano pattern, holding tissue along the side of the jaw for a secure grip during handling. This listing spans three lengths, 6, 8 and 10 inches, all sharing the side grasping pattern, so the surgical team can pick the reach that matches the depth of the surgical field being worked in, from superficial procedures to deeper cavities.
This design is used broadly across general surgery whenever the surgeon needs a dependable, non-slip hold on tissue while dissecting, retracting or preparing to suture. It is intended for use by trained surgical staff and, like other reusable tissue forceps, is cleaned and sterilised between procedures, remaining in circulation as a standard general surgery instrument.
