Sklar Brophy Tissue Forceps, Straight Serrated
A straight, serrated 8 inch forceps with a 1x2 tooth pattern, used to grasp tissue securely during cleft palate and reconstructive surgery, for use in hospitals and surgical centers.
The Sklar Brophy Tissue Forceps combines a serrated jaw with a 1x2 tooth pattern at the tip, giving the surgeon both a broad grip along the jaw and a firmer point contact for holding tissue during cleft palate and related reconstructive procedures. At a straight 8 inches overall, it is sized to work within the oral cavity while keeping the handle accessible outside the mouth.
This is a single configuration listing, sold as an individual instrument. It is intended for use by trained plastic and craniofacial surgical staff and is typically used together with other Brophy family instruments, such as the matching dressing forceps and scissors, as part of a complete cleft palate repair instrument set.
Like other reusable surgical forceps, it is cleaned and sterilised between cases.
