Sklar Blue Bozeman-Douglas Uterine Dressing Forceps
A 10-1/4 inch S-curved dressing forceps with one large finger ring, used to pack or dress the uterine cavity during gynecologic procedures, for use in hospitals and surgical centers.
The Sklar Blue Electrosurgical Bozeman-Douglas Uterine Dressing Forceps is a long, S-curved instrument designed to reach deep into the uterine cavity for packing, dressing changes or tissue handling during gynecologic surgery. The double curve of the shaft follows the natural angle of the vaginal canal and uterus, and the single large finger ring gives the surgeon a stable, comfortable grip when working at that depth.
Its blue electrosurgical coating is intended for use in procedures where cautery devices are active in the same field. At 10-1/4 inches overall, it is built for the reach that uterine and vaginal procedures require rather than for superficial work. This is a single configuration listing, supplied and sold as an individual instrument.
It is intended for use by trained gynecologic surgical staff and is commonly used alongside other Bozeman-pattern instruments during vaginal and uterine surgery.
