Sklar Bipolar McIndoe Forceps, 6 inch
A 6 inch bipolar forceps from Sklar based on the McIndoe pattern, sold separately, used by plastic and reconstructive surgeons for controlled tissue coagulation.
The Sklar Bipolar McIndoe Forceps are based on the McIndoe forceps pattern, a design long favoured in plastic and reconstructive surgery for its light handling and fine serrated jaw. Adapted here for bipolar use, the 6 inch forceps let the surgeon grasp and coagulate tissue in the same motion when connected to a compatible bipolar generator and cable.
Current passes only between the two tips, limiting the spread of heat to surrounding tissue compared with monopolar cautery, which matters in reconstructive work where preserving healthy tissue and minimising scarring is a priority. The forceps are used by plastic and reconstructive surgeons and their surgical teams during a range of soft tissue and cosmetic procedures.
This listing is sold as a single forceps rather than a pair. As a reusable precision instrument, it should be cleaned, inspected for tip alignment and sterilized between cases. Hospitals and cosmetic surgery centres across the UAE and GCC stock McIndoe pattern bipolar forceps for reconstructive procedures.
