Sklar Bellucci Ear Forceps, Serrated, 8mm
A 3 inch fine forceps with a serrated 8mm tip, used for delicate tissue and instrument handling during ear microsurgery procedures.
The Sklar Bellucci Ear Forceps is a fine microsurgical forceps designed for the confined working space of the middle and outer ear, where instruments must be small enough to pass through the ear canal while still offering precise control at the tip. Measuring 3 inches with a serrated 8mm working tip, it is built for grasping small pieces of tissue, packing material or graft material during otologic procedures such as tympanoplasty and other ear microsurgery.
The serrated jaw surface helps the forceps hold delicate material securely without excessive pressure, reducing the risk of crushing tissue that is often thin and fragile in this anatomical region. ENT and otology surgeons rely on forceps of this pattern as core instruments in ear microsurgery trays, typically used under an operating microscope alongside other fine hand instruments.
As with other Sklar ENT instruments, it is manufactured to close tolerances suited to microsurgical work and is designed for repeated clinical use with standard sterilization between cases. Otology practices performing regular ear surgery keep this forceps as a standard tray component.
