Sklar Barnes Suction Tube, Angled 1.5mm
A 2 inch angled suction tube with a 1.5mm diameter, used to clear blood and fluid from a small or delicate surgical field. It is supplied for repeated sterilization and reuse in hospital and clinic settings.
7mm and 2mm diameters as well, used to clear blood, irrigation fluid, and debris from a small or delicate surgical field. The angled tip helps the surgeon direct the suction opening toward the source of fluid accumulation without needing to reposition the whole instrument, which is useful in confined anatomical spaces such as the ear, nose, or fine plastic surgery incisions.
Having a choice of diameters lets the surgical team match suction strength and tip size to the amount of fluid expected and the size of the surgical opening, using a narrower tube where a wider one would obstruct the view or damage delicate tissue. This suction tube is used across ENT, ophthalmic, and plastic surgery wherever fine, controlled suction is preferred over the larger tubes used in general or abdominal surgery.
It is reprocessed for reuse following routine surgical instrument sterilization.
