Sklar ACL/PCL Tray, Level A
An instrument tray, Level A, used to organise and hold instruments needed during ACL or PCL ligament reconstruction surgery.
The Sklar ACL/PCL Tray, Level A, is an instrument tray designed to hold and organise the set of instruments used during anterior cruciate ligament or posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery on the knee. Organising instruments by level within a broader ACL/PCL system lets a hospital's sterile processing department assemble, sterilise and check the correct group of instruments for a given stage or type of the reconstruction procedure, rather than managing a single undivided tray of many components.
This Level A tray works alongside its Level B and Level C counterparts, each holding a different subset of the guides, handles and other components used across the full ACL/PCL instrument system. Orthopaedic surgical teams performing ligament reconstruction rely on this kind of structured tray layout to keep track of a large instrument set and confirm completeness before and after each case.
As a reusable stainless steel tray, it is processed through the hospital's standard sterilisation cycle between uses.
