Relitape Washproof Tape, Waterproof PVC, Pink and Blue
A soft, flexible waterproof PVC tape available in pink and blue, used to fix dressings or immobilise joints wherever water resistance is needed on the skin.
Relitape Washproof Tape is a durable adhesive tape made from soft, flexible PVC, chosen specifically for situations where a dressing or bandage needs to stay in place even when it gets wet. It uses a special low-allergy adhesive that is suitable for sensitive skin, so it can be used across a wide range of patients without the irritation that a stronger adhesive might cause.
The tape is used to fix dressings and to help immobilise joints, and because it is cut to length from the roll rather than pre-shaped, it can be applied in whatever length a particular wound or joint requires. It is supplied in two colours, pink, sometimes described as a flesh tone, and blue, with the blue variant specifically noted as suitable for use in food preparation areas where a highly visible tape is preferred for hygiene reasons.
