Highly absorbent 8-ply cotton gauze swabs meeting BP quality, available sterile or non-sterile, cushioning a wound while letting blood and fluid pass through.
These Reliswab cotton gauze swabs are made from 100 percent cotton to BP quality, an 8-ply construction that gives high absorbency for general wound care use. The gauze pad cushions and protects a wound, helping prevent the surrounding area from drying out prematurely while healing takes place. It should not be placed directly onto an open wound, since it may stick to the wound bed, but it allows blood and other fluids to pass through and be absorbed, making it well suited as a secondary or covering layer over a primary dressing, or for general use around the wound site during cleaning.
5cm and 10cm by 10cm, each supplied in packs of 100, giving a bulk supply suited to busy clinics, hospital wards and treatment rooms. Reliswab is also used to clean the skin around a wound before a dressing is applied, making it a versatile, everyday item in wound management alongside more specialised dressings.
