Reliance Refill for BS8599-1 Catering First Aid Kit
A refill kit that restocks a BS8599-1 catering first aid kit with blue, food safe bandages, dressings and plasters, in small, medium and large sizes.
This refill is designed to restock an existing BS8599-1 workplace catering first aid kit once its original contents have been used, letting the employer save and reuse their existing box rather than buying a whole new kit. Guidance suggests one kit per 100 employees in low risk settings and one kit per 25 employees in high risk settings, and this refill is built to meet the same statutory food hygiene regulations and BSi approved content as the original large kit.
Its contents use the same blue colour scheme as the full catering kit, blue conforming and triangular bandages, burn, eye pad, finger and HSE sized dressings, foil blankets, gloves, plasters, resuscitation face shields, shears, tapes and wipes, so that any item accidentally dropped into food remains easy to spot.
Available in small, medium and large sizes to match the original kit being refilled, it functions as a mandatory HSE backup, keeping a catering operation compliant without discarding a serviceable case.
