The Sof Tourniquet is a windlass style tourniquet used by paramedics, military medics, security teams and trained first aiders to control severe, life threatening bleeding from a limb before a casualty can reach further care. 5 inch width, wide enough to spread pressure effectively while remaining slim enough to glide smoothly through the rugged buckle.
This design supports fast application using either one hand, for self aid, or two hands when treating someone else. The buckle is shaped to take up excess slack in a single motion and to hold the band stable at whatever angle it engages the limb, so the tourniquet does not loosen once it has been tightened and secured.
