Its elasticated construction lets it conform closely to the natural contours of the body and limb, which supports its main role of offering short term support to joints such as ankles and knees following a sprain, strain or minor instability issue.
Because the bandage carries its own adhesive, it stays firmly in place once applied, holding its supportive tension through movement rather than loosening or slipping the way a plain non-adhesive bandage might.
