The Cool Thermal Burn Blot Sachet follows the CoolTherm approach to burn treatment, using the unique action of an active gel ingredient combined with the groundbreaking non-woven carrier dressing technology found across the wider CoolTherm range. Some mild to moderate burns occur in areas or shapes that make a standard dressing awkward to apply cleanly, and this sachet format is designed to solve that problem by delivering the sterile active ingredient directly onto the skin, whether the burn has broken the skin surface or not.
Once applied, the treated area can then be covered with a light bandage if further protection or retention is needed, giving first aiders flexibility in how they finish the treatment. Because the sachet is a small, self contained single dose format, it is easy to carry in a first aid kit, glovebox or bag without the bulk of a full sized dressing, making it a useful addition alongside larger CoolTherm dressings for situations where a smaller, more targeted application is more practical.
