The BS8599-1 Workplace Kit in a Stockholm Bag brings together the range of items expected under the BS8599-1 workplace first aid standard in a soft carry bag rather than a rigid box, making it easier to store on a shelf or carry between locations. Inside, a conforming bandage and two triangular bandages support sprains and slings, while a burn dressing and a set of HSE medium and large dressings, along with two eye pad dressings and two finger dressings, cover a range of common workplace injuries.
A foil blanket is included to help manage shock, and six pairs of gloves allow repeated use of the kit by different first aiders without running out of protection early. Forty assorted washproof plasters cover minor cuts and grazes, and a resuscitation face shield, shears, microporous tape and twenty cleansing wipes round out the contents for wound cleaning, dressing retention and safer rescue breaths.
