The BS8599-1 Workplace First Aid Travel Kit is built for staff who travel between sites, work remotely or need a compact first aid provision that still follows the BS8599-1 workplace standard. Inside, it combines a conforming bandage and a triangular bandage for support and slings, a burn dressing and low adherent HSE dressings in both medium and large sizes for cuts and burns, and an eye pad dressing plus a bottle of eye wash for eye irritation or foreign body incidents.
A foil blanket helps manage shock or exposure, and a pair of gloves protects the first aider during treatment. Twenty five percent, this kit also includes an assortment of washproof plasters for minor cuts, a resuscitation face shield for safer rescue breaths, safety pins and microporous tape for securing dressings, and cleansing wipes for basic wound cleaning.
A guidance leaflet is included so an untrained bystander can follow simple steps if a trained first aider is not immediately available. It suits travelling employees, small offices and mobile workers.
