PICC/CVC Securement Device With Tegaderm CHG Dressing
A sutureless securement device combined with an antimicrobial CHG dressing, giving continuous protection and stable fixation for PICC and CVC lines. It is a standard item in dental and medical practice.
V. Securement Dressing, providing both mechanical stabilisation and antimicrobial protection for peripherally inserted central catheters and central venous catheters in one integrated product. The securement device, referred to as an engineered stabilisation device, holds the catheter firmly in place without the need for sutures, which reduces the risk of needlestick injury to staff and avoids the discomfort and infection risk associated with sutured catheter fixation, an approach recommended by the Joint Commission.
Layered with this is the CHG antimicrobial dressing, which is designed to provide immediate and continuous antimicrobial protection at the catheter insertion site for up to seven days, addressing one of the more serious risks associated with long dwelling central catheters. Together, the two components support both physical stability of the catheter and ongoing infection prevention at the insertion site through a single application.
Vascular access nurses and critical care staff use this product in hospital settings wherever PICC or CVC lines are placed and require sutureless securement.
