Parallel Bar AVG-2, Adjustable Walking Trainer
An adjustable parallel bar giving stable hand support for walking training and balance exercises in physiotherapy clinics, hospitals and rehabilitation centres, sized for varied patient needs.
The Parallel Bar, model AVG-2, is engineered for use in physiotherapy clinics, hospitals and rehabilitation centres to support patients during walking training and balance exercises. Two parallel handrails give patients a stable surface to hold as they practise standing, weight shifting and stepping movements, which helps rebuild confidence and control before progressing to less supportive walking aids.
The bar has an overall size of 335 by 116 centimetres, with a height that adjusts between 78 and 120 centimetres so it can be set to suit patients of different heights and stages of recovery. 8 centimetres, sized for a secure, comfortable grip, and the width between the bars can be adjusted from 34 to 64 centimetres to match the patient's build and the support they need.
Rehabilitation teams commonly use this kind of parallel bar as a foundational piece of equipment in gait training programmes for patients recovering from stroke, surgery or lower limb injury.
