The OT Light, Shadowless, LED, model OT Light 500, is designed to provide clear, even illumination over the surgical field in an operating theatre. It uses a PWM dimming system with flexibly adjustable colour temperature, letting the surgical team fine tune both brightness and warmth of light to suit the procedure and personal preference, rather than working with a single fixed lighting setting.
As a mobile operating theatre light, it can be repositioned around the surgical table as needed, giving flexibility in smaller theatres or procedure rooms where a fixed ceiling mounted system may not be practical. Each LED module in the light head contains either 10 or 6 beads along with an independent electronic control system, a design intended to give a low damage rate, since a fault in one module does not necessarily bring down the whole light.
The light includes a manual control focusing system, described as easy to operate, letting staff adjust the focus of the light beam directly at the point of use. This shadowless LED light suits operating rooms and procedure rooms carrying out surgical and minor invasive procedures.
