Optika SLX-3 Trinocular Laboratory Microscope
A trinocular laboratory microscope with an inclined, rotating head, rack and pinion focusing and adjustable eyepieces, built for extended bench use.
The Optika SLX-3 is a laboratory microscope with a trinocular head, meaning it has two eyepieces for direct viewing plus a third port for a camera, split at a 50/50 ratio so an image can be captured while the sample is still being viewed live. The head is inclined at 45 degrees and rotates a full 360 degrees, letting the microscope be angled for comfortable viewing from different positions around a shared bench, which is useful in teaching labs or when several staff use the same instrument.
Focusing is handled through a rack and pinion mechanism for smooth, precise adjustment. The high eyepoint WF10x/21mm eyepieces are secured by screw and fitted with rubber cups for comfort during long sessions, and both eyepieces offer dioptric adjustment to accommodate users with different vision. Illumination comes from an EcoLED system that swivels between incident and transmitted light.
This class of microscope suits laboratory technicians, pathology and haematology staff, students and researchers who need reliable, adjustable optics for routine sample examination in clinical or teaching laboratories.
