Nasco Rescue Timmy Water Rescue Manikin
A compact water rescue training manikin used by lifeguards and coast guard teams to practise realistic top and bottom water rescue scenarios. It is commonly stocked by hospitals, clinics and emergency response teams across the UAE and wider GCC market.
S. Coast Guard, sheriff's departments, lifeguard trainers and emergency personnel to practise water rescue technique. When filled with water, the manikin sinks to the bottom, allowing trainers to run realistic bottom water rescue drills as well as surface rescue scenarios, adding a level of physical challenge and realism that a floating-only manikin cannot provide.
At 34 by 11 by 7 inches and shipping at around 8 lbs, it is a relatively compact and lightweight manikin, making it manageable for trainers to set up and retrieve repeatedly across multiple training sessions or classes of lifeguard trainees. Rescue Timmy is not offered with CPR options, meaning it is built specifically for the physical rescue and retrieval component of training rather than doubling as a resuscitation training aid.
Lifeguard training programmes, aquatic centres, coast guard units and emergency services running water rescue certification courses use manikins like this to give trainees hands-on practice with the added shock of realism that an actual submerged casualty scenario provides.
