The Infusion Pump with Smart System, model IP3, delivers fluids and medication to patients at a precisely controlled rate. A 3 inch LCD screen displays the running settings clearly, while a built in alarm system alerts nursing staff to issues during infusion. 1 ml per hour, which suits everything from slow paediatric drips to rapid fluid resuscitation.
Accuracy is rated within plus or minus 5 percent for standard infusion sets, and the pump monitors line blockages across three pressure levels, high, medium and low, so an occlusion is caught quickly. A keep vein open, or KVO, mode maintains a minimal flow of 1 to 5 ml per hour between doses to stop a line from clotting.
The housing carries an IPX1 waterproof rating and runs on AC power from 100 to 240 volts, making it suitable for general wards, ICUs and home infusion therapy managed by nursing staff.
