HeartPlus AED Pads, Single Use

HeartPlus ResQ AED pads are a single use defibrillator pad set designed to connect a patient to an automated external defibrillator during a cardiac emergency. They are suitable for use on anyone aged 12 months and older, making them applicable across a wide range of emergency response settings including hospitals, clinics, schools and public access defibrillator locations.

Each pack has an expiry date of 2 years from manufacture, so pads need to be checked and replaced periodically to keep an AED unit ready for use. The pads feature a 2 meter cable, which lets the responder maintain a safe distance from the patient while the device analyses the heart rhythm and delivers a shock if needed.

To help responders apply the pads correctly and quickly under pressure, the pack includes graphics printed directly on the pads showing the correct placement positions on the chest. Because they are single use, a fresh set must be used for each patient, and unopened packs should be stored and monitored so they are replaced before their expiry date.
