FR3 Data Card for Philips HeartStart FR3 AED, Replacement Modules
A removable data card for the Philips HeartStart FR3 AED, recording ECG, patient data and voice during an event for later review by responders. Organisations running Philips HeartStart FR3 units, particularly those in EMS or emergency response applications, are advised.
The FR3 Data Card is an accessory recommended for all Philips HeartStart FR3 AEDs, used to store and record patient data during a cardiac arrest event. It can record up to 8 hours of ECG data and patient information, and up to 8 hours of voice recording where the device has been configured for that function, giving responders and medical staff a detailed record of what happened during and after defibrillation.
Being a removable card, it can be taken out of the AED after an event and reviewed separately, without needing to connect the whole defibrillator to a computer, which makes post-event review and reporting more straightforward. The card sits in the back of the HeartStart FR3 AED and is fitted before the battery is installed, and it is used in conjunction with the wider HeartStart event review process for downloading and analysing recorded data.
Organisations running Philips HeartStart FR3 units, particularly those in EMS or emergency response applications, are advised to order spare data cards so a replacement is on hand after an AED has been used.
