A 3 metre rectal and oral temperature probe for Dräger Vista patient monitors, used for continuous core temperature measurement in theatre and intensive care.
The Dräger Rectal and Oral Temperature Probe measures core temperature at the rectal or oral site and returns a continuous reading to a Vista patient monitor. The 3 metre lead allows the connector to reach a monitor mounted away from the bed while the probe stays in position on the patient. It is an adult and paediatric probe and measures temperature only.
Core temperature monitoring is used during general anaesthesia, in intensive care during active warming or cooling, and wherever a surface reading alone is not sufficient. The probe connects to Vista 120, Vista 120S and Vista 300 monitors, including the A, A+, C and C+ variants. The matching skin probe covers surface measurement on the same monitors, and separate neonatal versions of both probes are available for newborn patients.
