Dräger Primus Anaesthesia Workstation
An established Dräger anaesthesia workstation with an integrated ventilator, circle breathing system and gas monitoring, for operating room use.
The Primus is a Dräger anaesthesia workstation that combines fresh-gas delivery, a compact circle breathing system with carbon dioxide absorber, an anaesthesia ventilator and integrated gas measurement in a single unit with a shared display. It is a long-established platform with a broad installed base, and it uses the Dräger anaesthesia accessory range shared with the Atlan, Perseus and Fabius machines.
The Primus is used in the operating room for general, day-case and specialist surgical lists. It accepts the Dräger anaesthesia breathing sets in this category, including the Anaesthesia Set Basic and Set Flex, the Coax and Coax Water Trap sets, the VentStar range and the BlueSet Anaesthesia options, covering adult, paediatric and neonatal patients.
The CLIC absorber adapter, SediStar disposable face masks and reusable silicone breathing bags are compatible. HumaNova supplies Dräger anaesthesia workstations to hospitals, day-surgery units and clinics across the United Arab Emirates and the wider GCC. Configuration is fixed at the point of order, so procurement teams should confirm the gas supply arrangement, monitoring options, vaporiser mounts and the trolley or ceiling-pendant arrangement required for the theatre in question before the order is placed.
It is worth agreeing at the same time which breathing sets, absorbers, face masks and sensors will be held as running stock, since those items determine the recurring cost of running the machine once it is installed. Pricing is quoted on request: send the intended configuration, the number of units and any tender or framework reference, and our team will return a written quotation covering the workstation and the accessories ordered with it.
