Dräger Perseus A500 Anaesthesia Workstation
A Dräger anaesthesia workstation combining ventilation, gas delivery and integrated monitoring in one unit, for use across the operating room.
The Perseus A500 is a Dräger anaesthesia workstation that brings ventilation, fresh-gas delivery, a circle breathing system with carbon dioxide absorber and integrated patient monitoring into a single platform with one display. Ventilation modes, gas measurement and the anaesthesia record are presented through a common interface, so the anaesthetist works from one screen rather than several separate instruments mounted on the machine.
The Perseus A500 is used in the operating room across general, day-case and specialist surgical lists, including long and complex procedures. It accepts the Dräger anaesthesia breathing sets in this category, including the Coax and Coax Water Trap sets, the VentStar range with and without water trap, and the neonatal VentStar (N) and BlueSet Anaesthesia options, covering adult, paediatric and neonatal patients.
CLIC absorbers, LiteStar and SediStar face masks and silicone bags are compatible. HumaNova supplies Dräger anaesthesia workstations to hospitals, day-surgery units and clinics across the United Arab Emirates and the wider GCC. Configuration is fixed at the point of order, so procurement teams should confirm the gas supply arrangement, monitoring options, vaporiser mounts and the trolley or ceiling-pendant arrangement required for the theatre in question before the order is placed.
It is worth agreeing at the same time which breathing sets, absorbers, face masks and sensors will be held as running stock, since those items determine the recurring cost of running the machine once it is installed. Pricing is quoted on request: send the intended configuration, the number of units and any tender or framework reference, and our team will return a written quotation covering the workstation and the accessories ordered with it.
