Dräger Masimo Rainbow Sensor Shield
A sensor shield for Masimo rainbow pulse oximetry sensors, fitted over the application site to limit interference from ambient light.
The sensor shield is an accessory placed over an applied Masimo rainbow sensor. Pulse oximetry works by measuring light transmitted through tissue, so strong ambient light reaching the detector can interfere with the reading. The shield covers the sensor at the application site to reduce that ingress.
It is a simple accessory used in addition to the sensor itself, not a replacement for correct sensor placement, and it does not alter what the sensor measures. Shields are used in intensive care, neonatal intensive care and the operating room across adult, paediatric and neonatal patients. They are particularly relevant in neonatal units, where phototherapy and overhead warming lamps put high light levels near the monitoring site, and under theatre lighting.
The shield is ordered alongside the rainbow sensor range as a supporting consumable rather than in place of any sensor line. For record purposes, the patient group is given as adult, neonatal and paediatric and the country of origin is United States. The item is not RFID tagged. Quote Dräger part number MP03203 (GTIN 10843997004159) on your enquiry.
HumaNova supplies this accessory to hospitals, clinics and laboratories in the UAE and across the GCC, either as a one-off replacement or as a repeat line against a department's periodic consumable order. No prices are published on this page: raise an RFQ with the part number and the quantity and a quotation will be prepared and sent.
Biomedical and materials management teams can submit a consolidated list of part numbers in a single enquiry, and the response will address each line separately so that individual items can be approved, amended or removed without reopening the whole request.
