Dräger Masimo rainbow DCIP Reusable Finger Sensor, Child
A reusable Masimo rainbow DCIP paediatric finger sensor measuring SpO2 alongside carboxyhaemoglobin and methaemoglobin in theatre.
The rainbow DCIP is the paediatric version of the reusable rainbow finger sensor, measuring oxygen saturation (SpO2) together with carboxyhaemoglobin (SpCO) and methaemoglobin (SpMet). It is scaled to a child's fingertip so the emitter and detector remain correctly aligned across the smaller digit. Like the adult DCI, it is cleaned between patients according to the manufacturer's instructions and reused rather than discarded.
The sensor is listed for the operating room and is specified for paediatric patients. A rainbow-capable monitor configuration and rainbow cable are required for the SpCO and SpMet parameters to be reported. Paediatric theatres running rainbow monitoring generally hold both the DCI adult and DCIP child sensors so that either patient size can be covered from the same rainbow-equipped monitor, and both are cleaned and returned to the department rather than consumed per case.
For record purposes, the country of origin is Mexico. Order by Dräger part number 3722467 (GTIN 843997015615). HumaNova holds this line in its Dräger accessory catalogue for hospitals, clinics and laboratories throughout the UAE and the GCC, and can combine it with related sensors, cables and consumables on a single quotation.
Prices are not published; submit an RFQ with the part number and quantity and the commercial team will respond with a written offer. Where a department is standardising its accessory holdings, the part number can be quoted against an annual requirement as readily as against a one-off replacement, and related lines can be grouped on the same document to reduce the number of separate enquiries a buyer has to raise.
