Dräger Masimo rainbow DCI Reusable Finger Sensor, Adult
A reusable Masimo rainbow DCI adult finger sensor measuring SpO2 together with carboxyhaemoglobin and methaemoglobin in theatre.
The rainbow DCI is a reusable adult finger sensor that measures oxygen saturation (SpO2) along with carboxyhaemoglobin (SpCO) and methaemoglobin (SpMet). The multi-wavelength rainbow design is what allows it to separate these dyshaemoglobins, which conventional two-wavelength pulse oximetry cannot distinguish from oxygenated haemoglobin.
Being reusable, it is cleaned between patients according to the manufacturer's instructions rather than discarded after each use. The sensor is listed for the operating room and is specified for adult patients. It requires a rainbow-capable monitor configuration and a rainbow cable to display the SpCO and SpMet parameters; on a standard SET path those readings are not available.
As a reusable item it is ordered in small numbers against the rainbow-equipped monitors in a department rather than as a recurring consumable. For record purposes, the country of origin is Mexico. The item is ordered against Dräger part number 3722471 (GTIN 843997015608), supplied in the pack configuration described above.
HumaNova supplies Dräger consumables and accessories to hospitals, clinics and laboratories across the UAE and the wider GCC, and can quote this line on its own or alongside the rest of a department's accessory list. Pricing is issued by RFQ: send the part number and the quantity required and a written quotation will be prepared.
Enquiries can be raised for a single pack or for a scheduled quantity covering a department's expected consumption, and the same reference is used on the resulting quotation, order acknowledgement and delivery paperwork so the line can be traced through the procurement cycle.
