Dräger Masimo rainbow 8 Lambda Disposable Sensor, Infant, Pack of 10
A ten-piece box of disposable Masimo rainbow 8 Lambda sensors in the infant size, measuring SpO2 with carboxyhaemoglobin and methaemoglobin.
This box contains ten single-use Masimo rainbow 8 Lambda sensors in the infant size. The multi-wavelength rainbow design lets the sensor report carboxyhaemoglobin (SpCO) and methaemoglobin (SpMet) in addition to oxygen saturation (SpO2), which two-wavelength pulse oximetry cannot distinguish. The infant version differs from the adult sensor in the size and geometry of the adhesive, so that the emitter and detector align correctly across a smaller site.
Each sensor is used for one patient and discarded. The sensor is applied where dyshaemoglobins may be present and a standard SpO2 figure alone would be misleading. It is listed for the operating room. As with the other rainbow sensors, the monitor must be configured for rainbow parameters and connected through a rainbow-capable cable; on a standard SET path the additional parameters will not be reported.
Paediatric theatre stores usually hold the infant, child and neonatal sizes together. For record purposes, the country of origin is Mexico. Order by Dräger part number 3702834 (GTIN 10843997010884). HumaNova holds this line in its Dräger accessory catalogue for hospitals, clinics and laboratories throughout the UAE and the GCC, and can combine it with related sensors, cables and consumables on a single quotation.
Prices are not published; submit an RFQ with the part number and quantity and the commercial team will respond with a written offer. Where a department is standardising its accessory holdings, the part number can be quoted against an annual requirement as readily as against a one-off replacement, and related lines can be grouped on the same document to reduce the number of separate enquiries a buyer has to raise.
