It is applied to the patient's digit and measures arterial oxygen saturation and pulse rate by light transmission through the tissue, feeding the signal to a Masimo-enabled monitor input. The soft boot construction is designed for repeated application, and the LNCS connector format is used across a broad range of Masimo-enabled monitors.
