Dräger Fabius MRI Anaesthesia Machine
A Dräger Fabius anaesthesia machine built for the MRI environment, allowing anaesthesia to be delivered inside the magnet room.
The Fabius MRI is the magnetic resonance version of the Dräger Fabius anaesthesia machine. It provides fresh-gas delivery, a compact circle breathing system with carbon dioxide absorber and a piston ventilator, in a build intended for use within the controlled magnetic field of an MRI suite. Siting limits inside the magnet room are set by the scanner installation and the field strength, and must be confirmed against the specific facility before use.
The Fabius MRI is used where a patient requires general anaesthesia or sedation for magnetic resonance imaging: paediatric scanning, patients unable to remain still, and interventional MRI procedures. It accepts the Dräger anaesthesia breathing sets listed in this category, including the Anaesthesia Set Basic and Set Flex, VentStar sets and the neonatal VentStar (N) options, and the CLIC absorber adapter.
Longer breathing circuits are often specified so the machine can stand at the permitted distance from the bore. HumaNova supplies Dräger anaesthesia workstations to hospitals, day-surgery units and clinics across the United Arab Emirates and the wider GCC. Configuration is fixed at the point of order, so procurement teams should confirm the gas supply arrangement, monitoring options, vaporiser mounts and the trolley or ceiling-pendant arrangement required for the theatre in question before the order is placed.
It is worth agreeing at the same time which breathing sets, absorbers, face masks and sensors will be held as running stock, since those items determine the recurring cost of running the machine once it is installed. Pricing is quoted on request: send the intended configuration, the number of units and any tender or framework reference, and our team will return a written quotation covering the workstation and the accessories ordered with it.
