Dräger Fabius GS Anaesthesia Machine
A compact Dräger anaesthesia machine with an electronically controlled piston ventilator and circle breathing system, for routine operating room use.
The Fabius GS is an anaesthesia machine from the Dräger Fabius family. It combines fresh-gas delivery, a compact circle breathing system with carbon dioxide absorber, and an electronically controlled, electrically driven piston ventilator that does not rely on driving gas. Ventilation and gas data are shown on an integrated display.
The design keeps the breathing system small so that the volume of gas held in the machine stays low. The Fabius GS is used in the operating room for general surgical lists and in day-surgery units. It accepts the Dräger anaesthesia breathing sets listed in this category, including the Anaesthesia Set Basic and Set Flex, the VentStar range and the neonatal VentStar (N) sets, so adult, paediatric and neonatal cases can be covered from one accessory list.
The CLIC absorber adapter fits the machine, and disposable anaesthesia face masks and silicone breathing bags are compatible. HumaNova supplies Dräger anaesthesia workstations to hospitals, day-surgery units and clinics across the United Arab Emirates and the wider GCC. Configuration is fixed at the point of order, so procurement teams should confirm the gas supply arrangement, monitoring options, vaporiser mounts and the trolley or ceiling-pendant arrangement required for the theatre in question before the order is placed.
It is worth agreeing at the same time which breathing sets, absorbers, face masks and sensors will be held as running stock, since those items determine the recurring cost of running the machine once it is installed. Pricing is quoted on request: send the intended configuration, the number of units and any tender or framework reference, and our team will return a written quotation covering the workstation and the accessories ordered with it.
