The Dräger etCO2 Water Trap separates condensate and secretions from the gas sample before it reaches the CO2 measurement cell on a Vista 120 monitor. Keeping liquid out of the analyser path protects the measurement and the internal tubing. Traps are replaced at the interval given in the monitor instructions for use.
They are used in intensive care units and operating rooms with adult and paediatric patients whenever sidestream end-tidal CO2 monitoring is in use. The traps are listed for the Vista device family and fit Vista 120 C, Vista 120 C+, Vista 120S C, Vista 120S C+ and Vista 300 Model C monitors.
