This is the size M demonstration pack for the Dräger BabyFlow plus nasal CPAP interface. It holds the interface parts in the medium size so that staff can assemble the system, see how the prong and bonnet relate to one another and judge sizing before clinical use. The pack is intended for demonstration rather than treatment, and it mirrors the medium-size geometry of the patient-use consumable so training reflects actual practice.
It is used in neonatal intensive care and intensive care units during device familiarisation, in-service training and product evaluation, and relates to neonatal patients. The BabyFlow plus interface itself is applied with Dräger Babylog VN500, VN600, VN800 and 8000 Plus ventilators and with the Evita family, including the Evita V300, V500, V600, V800, XL and Evita 4.
As a demonstration item it is ordered for the training store rather than the cot-side consumable stock, and units introducing BabyFlow plus commonly take the small, medium and large packs together so the full sizing range can be shown in one session.
