Dräger Aquapor Respiratory Gas Humidifier
An active respiratory gas humidifier from Dräger that warms and humidifies inspired gas in the breathing circuit, used in operating theatre and critical care ventilation.
The Dräger Aquapor is an active humidifier for warming and humidifying the gas delivered to a patient through a breathing circuit. It heats water in a chamber placed in the inspiratory limb so that gas passing over the water surface picks up heat and moisture before reaching the patient, and it operates with a temperature probe in the circuit to control the delivered gas condition.
The Aquapor is applied in the Operating Room and in ventilated care generally, wherever dry medical gas would otherwise be delivered directly to the airway. It sits on a stand or rail alongside the ventilator or anaesthesia workstation and works with the corresponding Aquapor chambers, temperature probe cables and mounting hardware, which are ordered separately.
Departments running several ventilated bedspaces usually plan the humidifier alongside the chambers and probe leads it will consume, since those are the items that recur once the unit is in service. The Aquapor is a device rather than a consumable, and its configuration, covering chamber type, probe cable length and mounting arrangement, is settled at the point of order rather than fixed in advance.
HumaNova supplies the Aquapor and its associated accessories to hospitals, clinics and laboratories across the UAE and the wider GCC. Pricing is issued on request rather than listed: send an RFQ stating the intended care area, the ventilator or anaesthesia machine it will serve, the rail or stand it will be mounted on, and the number of units required, and a written quotation will be prepared against that specification.
Where chambers, probe cables and mounting hardware are needed alongside the unit, list them on the same enquiry so the whole set-up is quoted together and the biomedical and purchasing teams review a single response.
