This is a disposable coaxial anaesthesia breathing set fitted with a water trap. The inspiratory limb runs inside the expiratory limb, giving a single hose to the patient, and the trap collects condensate from the expiratory gas. 2 m bag hose with a 22 mm outside-diameter cone, and is discarded after use.
The set is used in the Operating Room for inhalational anaesthesia. It fits Dräger Atlan A100, A100 XL, A300, A300 XL, A350 and A350 XL workstations, together with Primus, Primus IE and Perseus A500. The coaxial arrangement reduces the number of hose runs to the patient, which matters where access at the head of the table is restricted by positioning or by other equipment.
