The water trap collects condensate that forms as warm, humidified expired gas cools in the hose, keeping accumulated fluid out of the breathing path and away from the absorber and ventilator ports. The set is listed for the operating room and for adult patients.
It fits the Dräger Perseus A500, Primus, Primus IE, and the Atlan A100, A100 XL, A300, A300 XL, A350 and A350 XL workstations. It is used where condensate is expected to build up, such as longer surgical lists, low-flow anaesthesia and cases with active humidification.
