The Aerogen Solo T-Piece Plug is a small sealing plug that closes the nebuliser port on an Aerogen Solo T-piece. When the nebuliser unit is removed from the breathing circuit, the plug occupies the open port so the circuit remains closed and the set gas path is not interrupted. It is supplied in packs of ten, which reflects how it is consumed in practice: plugs are small, are handled at each circuit change and are easily mislaid.
The plug is used in the Operating Room, where Aerogen Solo nebulisation is delivered through a ventilator or anaesthesia breathing circuit.
