Bionex Nasal Elevator, Stainless Steel
An autoclavable stainless steel nasal elevator used in ENT surgery to lift and separate tissue from bone during rhinoplasty and nasal procedures.
The Bionex Nasal Elevator is a stainless steel surgical instrument used in ENT and rhinoplasty procedures to lift soft tissue away from the underlying nasal bone or cartilage, creating the working space a surgeon needs to reshape or access the nasal structure. Its flat, blunt edged working tip is designed to slide along the bone surface, separating the periosteum or other tissue layers cleanly without cutting, which helps preserve the tissue for repositioning later in the procedure.
This kind of controlled tissue elevation is a foundational step in many nasal surgeries, whether the goal is cosmetic reshaping, correcting a functional nasal problem, or addressing trauma to the nasal bones. Made from stainless steel, the elevator is autoclavable and built for the repeated sterilisation cycles expected of reusable surgical instruments in a hospital operating theatre.
ENT surgeons, plastic surgeons performing rhinoplasty, and operating theatre teams are the main users, applying the elevator as one of several specialised instruments in a dedicated nasal surgery set. As with other reusable stainless steel instruments, it must be properly decontaminated and sterilised between cases before being returned to the instrument tray.
