3M V.A.C. Veraflo Cleanse Choice Wound Dressing
A negative pressure dressing used with Veraflo Therapy to help remove infectious material and wound debris and promote granulation tissue growth.
C. Veraflo Cleanse Choice Dressing is used in conjunction with Veraflo Therapy, a form of negative pressure wound therapy that instills and dwells a topical solution in the wound before removing it under negative pressure. This dressing is designed to support hydromechanical removal of infectious materials, non-viable tissue and general wound debris from the wound bed, while also promoting the growth of granulation tissue as part of ongoing healing.
It is available in a medium, one-layer kit size and a large, three-layer kit size, giving clinicians a choice that matches the depth and complexity of the wound being treated, from more straightforward wounds to larger or more heavily contaminated ones needing greater dressing volume. Veraflo Therapy is typically reserved for wounds with significant bioburden or necrotic tissue where standard negative pressure therapy alone would not adequately address the level of contamination present.
C. Therapy unit capable of delivering Veraflo instillation therapy rather than standard continuous negative pressure alone.
