3M Sof-Lex Square Eyelet Discs Refill
Color-coded, pop-on finishing and polishing discs built to provide high-luster restorations with life-like esthetics and fast, convenient disc change-outs.
3M Sof-Lex Square Eyelet Discs are finishing and polishing discs used by dentists to bring composite and other direct restorations to a smooth, high-luster finish that looks natural next to the surrounding tooth structure. The discs use a color-coded system so the clinician can quickly identify the correct grit sequence, moving from coarser to finer discs as the restoration is refined, and pop-on technology lets each disc be swapped on and off the mandrel quickly rather than screwed in place, which speeds up the finishing sequence during a busy appointment.
This refill restocks practices that already use the Sof-Lex disc system on their handpieces. Achieving a high-luster, life-like finish matters both for the patient's appearance and for the long-term performance of the restoration, since a smoothly polished surface is less likely to stain or harbour plaque.
These discs suit general and cosmetic dental practices completing composite restorations.
